Hi, I'm Yules Chan, Founder of Brilliant Person Career Coaching and author of The Brilliant Move: A Career Coaching Guide & Guided Journal.

 

My career journey began in the creative arts at the Alberta University of the Arts, where I explored design, performance art, and entrepreneurship. Through these experiences, I discovered that meaningful careers are not built by following a predetermined path, but by understanding who you are, what matters most, and how you define success.

My professional background spans entrepreneurship, creative arts, human services, employment supports, and career development. From helping operate a family-owned café franchise business and supporting individuals with diverse abilities, to guiding clients through career exploration and employment success, these experiences have shaped my practical, holistic, and client-centered approach to career coaching.

 

As a Career Consultant since 2019, I have helped hundreds of individuals explore career options, navigate transitions, build confidence, and pursue meaningful employment. These experiences inspired me to create Brilliant Person Career Coaching and develop the Profile of Success™ and Harmony Framework™ to help individuals define success, evaluate tradeoffs, and make career decisions aligned with their strengths, values, ambitions, and life circumstances.

 

My approach combines creativity, strategy, and practical career development tools to help students, professionals, career changers, entrepreneurs, and job seekers build meaningful and sustainable career paths.
